Hadlang na Dapat Nang Matanggal

MRT-3 has been a big help in the daily commute of many Filipinos, connecting communities, and making the city more accessible for thousands of riders every day. But for PWD commuters, the experience often tells a different story, one where getting from one platform to another isn’t always guaranteed.

Through the testimonies we gathered, PWD commuters opened up about their everyday struggles and the barriers that stand between them and a safe, independent commute. But beyond just sharing their struggles, they also offered real, practical suggestions on how MRT-3 can better serve them, from fixing broken elevators and adding more ramps, to stricter enforcement of priority lanes and better-trained station staff.

These aren’t just complaints. They’re firsthand insights from the people who navigate these barriers every single day, and they deserve to be heard.

FEATURED PWD TESTIMONIES

"EVERY RAINY DAIY IS A RISK"

Rainy days make broken elevators even more dangerous. Cesar shares why a backup option, like escalators, isn't too much to ask.

Accessiblity shoudn't be a gabmle

One day the elevator works, the next it doesn't. Watch how unreliable access forces PWDs to risk pain just to get around.

Rules without enforcement are just suggestions
